The Time Warner Cable DVR allows you to do several things. You can pause live TV, making it easy to run for a snack during the big game or take a bathroom break in the middle of your favorite show. As a matter of fact, you can pause live TV for up to one hour! Then you can fast-forward through all of the commercial breaks and get caught back up with live TV. You can also watch one live show, while your DVR is recording another. While you are recording one show, you can also watch something else that you have already recorded. You’ll be able to store up to 80 hours of TV programming on your DVR.
Whole House DVR
This DVR allows you to record one show in one room, but you’ll be able to watch that show in up to four different rooms in the house – at the same time! You can also use the same technology as above to record two shows at once.
Manage your DVR remotely
Sometimes, when you remember there’s a show or a movie you wanted to record, you’re at work or not at your house. With Remote DVR Manager, you can search for and record shows even when you aren’t at your home. You can actually use a computer or a smartphone to set your DVR to record a show.
