    The driver of a pickup was killed in Central Texas when the vehicle was struck by an Amtrak passenger train traveling from San Antonio to Chicago. Amtrak spokesman Marc Magliari in Chicago says it's not clear if the pickup was stopped Tuesday afternoon on the tracks north of Taylor or was attempting to cross them when struck.
