    Kenton Koch, a mechanical engineering student at Cal State Fullerton, won the 2014 Sports Car Club of America Pro Racing Mazda MX-5 Cup Championship on Oct. 3. Koch was awarded a $200,000 scholarship that will allow him to race in a Mazda-powered car of his choice next year. Earlier this year, Koch was the driver of the university's Formula SAE race car.
