    Federal officials say they'll correct a Confederate soldier's gravestone that was inscribed with the wrong name decades after he died at a Northern prisoner of war camp 150 years ago. The cemetery administration for the Department of Veterans Affairs has told the Star-Gazette of Elmira that a replacement headstone has been ordered for the grave of Pvt.

    Free flu shots will be provided for veterans in Concord on Thursday, Oct. 30. The event is scheduled to take place in room 230 of the Cabarrus County Government Center from 9 a.m. to noon.
